 GARY D. PREMER, CPA CFP  Founder-Shareholder

Gary has over forty years of experience in finance, accounting, investment management, estate and financial planning including ten years actively practicing as a Certified Public Accountant. His accounting experience includes four years with an international “Big Four” CPA firm immediately after college graduation and six years as a partner in a local CPA firm. This background provides clients thorough, innovative and unique insight into financial planning and investment management with consideration always given to income and estate taxes.

Gary is the Founder and a shareholder of Colorado Financial Management, Inc. He has taught the principles of personal financial planning and investment management in numerous public and university-sponsored seminars. His goal is to always present to clients and prospective clients’ understandable alternatives so they can make informed financial decisions.

A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with an emphasis in Accounting, he was awarded the Certified Public Accounting designation in 1973 and the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1995. He is a member of the The Institute of Certified Financial Planning.  A veteran of the United States Army, Gary served for three years with Central Finance and Accounting for European operations in Heidelberg, Germany. Gary and his wife, Sue, have four children and reside in Loveland, Colorado.

 

JOSHUA R. MILLER, CFP President-Shareholder

Josh is the President and a shareholder of Colorado Financial Management, Inc., and is involved in investment management, investment policy, operations, compliance and business development of the company. Josh has been with CFM since 2002 and currently manages one-half of the firm’s clients.

Josh has over twelve years of previous experience in banking, leasing, finance, accounting and corporate management including seven years with a national company that has over 1,000 branch locations. Josh was responsible for providing financial support to the branch network across the United States.

A graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln with a Bachelors degree in finance, Josh also earned a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Denver.  He received the Certified Financial Planner designation in 2006 and is a member of the The Institute of Certified Financial Planning. Josh and his wife, Amber, reside in Fort Collins. 

 

 

 

 

 

DAVID E. EADS, Financial Advisor

Prior to joining Colorado Financial Management, Inc., David completed all of the financial planning, retirement planning, investment management, estate planning, and taxation courses required to sit for the Certified Financial Planner™ examination. David passed the CFP® Certification Examination in 2011. He is a candidate for CFP® certification while completing the experience requirement. David is a member of Colorado Financial Management’s Investment Committee. It’s a labor of love for David, as investments have been his hobby for 20 years.

David spent the first seven years of his professional career at a top 15 Mechanical Contractor as a Project Engineer and Project Manager. He was on the project management teams of many of the region’s largest construction projects including the Medical Center of the Rockies, Embassy Suites Loveland, CSU Research Innovation Center, NCAR Wyoming Supercomputing Center in Cheyenne, WY, and Exempla St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. As a Project Manager he was responsible for the financial projections of his projects. David received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Colorado State University in 2006. David has been a Loveland resident since 1983. He and his wife Rachel have a son Bradley and live in Loveland with their two dogs.

 

 

SHERRI  ZUHLKE, Staff Assistant

Sherri has been with our firm for over 10 years and leads our Back Office Support and Customer Service operations.

Sherri has over 20 years of experience in the areas of administration and customer service. She received her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan College and worked for Hewlett Packard for 8 years in manufacturing as a Certified Trainer, Administrative Assistant, and Program Administrator.

Sherri resides in Greeley with her husband Mike and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and attending her son’s hockey games.

 

 

 

 

BEKAH PICKERELL, Administrative Assistant

Bekah serves as an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist to the firm at Colorado Financial Management, Inc and has been with the company since 2011. Her focus is client relations and service, and aides in the daily operations of CFM.

Bekah has over 8 years of service in the fields of customer relations and business administration. She hopes to further her knowledge and education in the financial planning industry and as well as seeking the opportunity to grow with CFM. Bekah, and her two children, reside in Longmont.
